Description
Universal rod for tibia, diameter 9,10,11 mm, length from 270 to 390 mm, with a step of 15 mm. Non-sterile rod made of titanium alloy, designed for osteosynthesis of tibial fractures, including high and low fractures with the possibility of intraoperative compression by means of a special screw inserted inside the rod, solid. The cross-section in the form of a triangle with rounded edges, corresponding to the anatomical shape of the canal, longitudinal grooves to facilitate insertion and preserve the endosteal blood supply.
The proximal part has a 13 degree anterior bend to minimise damage to the knee joint when inserting the rod, the upper anterior edge of the rod has a bevel to minimise ligament injury. The design is universal for the right and left limb. The product has laser markings for diameter and length.
The product is disposable and must be sterilised before use.
