Universal Optical Communication Cable GERDA-KOU-Ks2 for Signal Transmission

Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, it is used for laying in the open air, as well as inside buildings, tunnels, collectors in conditions of electric field, with increased requirements of resistance to electric field. The cable has an optical core of modular design, consisting of a central power element in the form of a fibreglass rod, around which optical modules and other elements (if necessary) are twisted, each optical module can contain up to 12 optical fibres, the total number of optical fibres in the cable - up to 144 pieces. The space inside the module is filled with hydrophobic filler along the entire length of the cable. The protective cover of the cable is made by two whips of fibreglass rods, intermediate sheath and outer sheath of polymeric materials
