Uninterruptible power supply systems (hereinafter referred to as UPS) in accordance with GOST 27699, are designed to supply electricity of a given quality to single- and three-phase responsible consumers of alternating current in the event of disconnection or deterioration of the quality of electrical energy of the power supply source of alternating current at the input. The UPS can also serve to improve the quality of the AC power supply by maintaining it within the established characteristics.

Uninterruptible power supply units (hereinafter referred to as UPS) in accordance with GOST 26416 are designed to supply consumers of the first category with AC power of industrial frequency 50, 60 Hz; charge and recharge batteries. ABPs must uninterruptedly provide the consumer with electricity, standard both in voltage and frequency regardless of the presence or absence of the input power supply.
