Turbogenerator is designed to generate electricity in continuous rated operating mode S1 according to GOST IEC 60034-1-2014 in direct connection with a steam turbine at a thermal power plant. Climatic version according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543 for operation at an altitude of not more than 1000m above sea level.
It represents a three-phase synchronous electric machine with implicitly pole rotor. It consists of a fixed part - the stator, which includes the core and winding, and a rotating part - the rotor, which houses the excitation winding, powered by direct current.
Structural design of the generator is closed hermetic. In order to divert the losses released in the stator and rotor windings, the magnetic conductors (in the stator core and in the rotor shaft) are provided for direct cooling of the rotor winding with hydrogen, the stator winding with distilled water and filling of the stator housing with hydrogen.
