Transformers are designed for measurement and large-scale conversion of the value of the force of alternating (including - with aperiodic component), pulsed
and direct current and transfer the results of conversion to electrical measuring devices, in systems of commercial metering of electrical energy,
measurement devices (including power quality indicators), protection, automation, signalling and control devices.
The principle of operation of TTEO is based on two physical laws: the law of total current and the Faraday effect. In the sensitive fibre there is a phase shift of polarised optical radiation in the presence of magnetic radiation.
