Traction Motor DTC-800K for Driving Electric Locomotives

The DC traction motor DTK-800K is designed to drive wheel pairs of mainline DC passenger electric locomotives of EP2K type. The motor has a support-frame suspension and is used as part of the third class mechanical drive with one-way torque transmission. The traction motor is a six-pole compensated DC machine with series excitation and independent ventilation system. For ease of maintenance in operation of the collector-brush unit, the motor is equipped with a swivelling traverse. The main and additional poles are of monoblock construction. The electric motor meets the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 001/2011.
