Titanium Shoulder Rod for Osteosynthesis - Ideal for Bone Fragment Fixation

Shoulder rod 8,9 mm diameter, length from 180 to 320 mm, in 20 mm increments. Non-sterile rod made of titanium alloy, designed for fixation of bone fragments during osteosynthesis of diaphyseal, including high and low, fractures of the humerus, allows intraoperative compression by means of a special screw, screwed inside the rod, cannulated. Ring-shaped cross-section, longitudinal grooves to facilitate rod insertion and preserve the endosteal blood supply.

Outward bend of 6 degrees in the proximal part, pointed distal tip to facilitate insertion and repositioning, internal axial hole with thread for insertion of a blind or compression screw in the proximal part of the rod. The product has laser markings for diameter and length. Universal design for right and left limb.

The product is disposable, must be sterilised before use.
