Description

Thyristor starting device PU-6-08R UHL4, hereinafter referred to as "PU", is designed for starting in the operating mode of gas-turbogenerator unit with gas turbine engine GTE-170 and turbogenerator TZFG-160 - 2MU3. The PU ensures the unit rotation when performing other technological modes: "flushing", "venting", etc.

When starting the unit and its rotation in technological modes, the turbine generator is used as a synchronous motor powered by the PU. When powered from the PU, the turbine generator excitation should be provided by the standard static excitation system (SE) starting from the stationary state.

The PU includes the following equipment: thyristor frequency converter, hereinafter referred to as "converter" 1 pc; current limiting reactors for installation at the input and output of the converter 2 pcs; The converter includes the following equipment: power rectifier cabinet 1 pc; power inverter cabinet 1 pc; control cabinet 1 pc; smoothing reactor 1 pc.
