Multisurface surgical clamping instruments are designed for temporary squeezing of tissues during operations to stop bleeding, blocking the lumen of hollow organs or for fixation (holding) of tissues and organs (forceps) and delivery of various materials (auxiliary clamps).The clamp consists of two branches (or branches), connected by a lock, which conditionally divides them into a working part (sponges) On the working surface of the sponges there is an oblique notch, and at the very end of them there are sharp teeth - two on one side and one on the opposite side; when the lock is closed, a tooth of one sponge enters the slot between two teeth of the other sponge and the prickly part
