Sterile Disposable Pleural/Peritoneal Drainage Device with Catheter "PLEVOKAT" for Effective Fluid Removal

The device is designed for drainage of transudate and exudate pleural cavity, pulmonary caverns and lung abscesses, as well as ascites, treatment of pneumothorax (air removal), lavage of pleural empyema cavity and abscesses in other body cavities. Included: catheter insertion unit: puncture needle with a shortened cut, needle size 3.35x78 mm; X-ray contrast catheter size: outer diameter 2.7 mm, length 450 mm, with a protective plug and protective cover. Connection unit: three-way valve with blunt needle.

Connection unit: gravity valve with luer-lock connectors. Two polymeric containers for separable volume of 2 litres, have volume graduation from 100ml to 2000ml, transparent supply (connecting) tube made of polyvinylchloride with connector "Luer-lok". Single-use, three-detail syringe with a nominal capacity of 50 ml with a "Luer-lok" tip, has additional graduation up to 60 ml.
