Silphon compensators provide flexible, hermetic connection of oil pipelines, gas pipelines, pipelines and units of hydraulic, gas, air, fuel and oil systems of apparatuses of ground equipment. Compensators are designed to compensate temperature and mechanical movements of pipeline systems located in aboveground (including indoors) and underground laying of pipelines, in channels, tunnels, chambers. The main feature of the bellows axial compensator of standard design is compensation of axial displacements and absorption of vibrations due to the use of a flexible element (corrugated bellows) and the transfer of spacing force from the internal pressure of the medium to the pipelines.
