Special Tow Truck SMA221 for Efficient Vehicle Recovery and Transport

Special wrecker vehicle is designed for evacuation from the scene of an accident or transport to the place of repair of defective vehicles. It is also possible to use the wrecker for transporting vehicles over medium distances. Depending on the modification it can be equipped with sliding or two-level (for transporting two cars) all-metal platforms with or without hydraulic drive, load capacity from 2 to 3 tonnes. Loading of the vehicle on the platform is carried out by hydraulic or electric winch. The design of the vehicle does not provide for the use of an additional engine to power the working bodies and attachments. Functioning of working bodies is carried out by the PTO from the base engine of the chassis.
