Special Evacuation Vehicle Type 3957K for Safe Vehicle Recovery

Special wrecker type 3957K modifications 3957K0, 3957K1 and 3957K2 is designed for evacuation from the scene of an accident or transport to the place of repair of defective vehicles. It is also possible to use the tow truck for transporting vehicles over medium distances. Depending on the modification it can be equipped with broken, sliding or two-level all-metal platforms with or without hydraulic drive, with load capacity from 4 to 6 tonnes.

Loading of the vehicle on the platform is carried out by hydraulic or electric winch. The winch is mounted on a reinforced bracket in the front part of the platform. The design of the vehicle does not provide for the use of an additional engine to power the working bodies and attachments.

Functioning of the working bodies is carried out by the PTO from the base engine of the chassis.
