Sludge Level Photoelectric Alarm SUF-5 (5.1) for Clarity Monitoring

Signallers of SUF-5 series are designed to control the transparency of the environment. If the light absorption exceeds the set threshold, the output relay is de-energised. SUF-5 signalling device is designed to control the sludge level in settling tanks, SUF-5.1 signalling device is designed to control the medium composition in a flow-through measuring vessel.

The signalling device consists of a relay unit (Fig.1) for outdoor installation (placement category U2) and a submersible sensor (Fig. 2) connected by a flexible cable. The delivery set may include a measuring vessel (Fig.

3). The sensor of the signalling device is a U-shaped hermetically sealed plastic-mass construction, in the drillings of which there is a powerful semiconductor infrared emitter and a semiconductor photocell, covered with Teflon-coated glasses protecting them from biofouling. The relay unit is a plastic or metal box fixed on a metal plate with holes for mounting on a vertical surface.
