Single Track Tram Switch R50 for Efficient Rail Transition (Model 8609.00.000)

Single tramway exit R50 according to ep. 811 (project 8609.00.000) is designed to transfer trams from one track to another. It consists of external and internal bodies with sharps (feathers) and transfer mechanisms.

The bodies are made in the form of castings from high manganese steel with welded rail ends and are fixed on pads. Turning sharps (feathers) are made of high-manganese steel. The switches can be equipped with a system of electric heating of sharps (feathers).

The ramp is operated outdoors in macroclimatic regions of temperate and cold climate as a product UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69. The ramp is designed to pass the rolling stock with wheel bands according to GOST 25712-88.
