R65 Single Switch for Efficient Train Track Switching on Reinforced Concrete Beams

Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one of the parallel tracks to another. It is used on the main tracks of railway lines with mixed freight and passenger train traffic. Design features: exit: separate fastening; elastic bar terminals Skl or terminals of PC type; pads with flanges; with subsequent welding of rail joints in the track by aluminium-thermite method; switches: flexible shackles with welded rail ends, elastic U-shaped spring terminals; welded pads with cushions; crossbars: prefabricated with rail whiskers and shortened cast core of high-manganese steel with welded to its rear end rail ends; counter-rail from angle SP850.
