Signal Search Generator GPS-1 for Rescue Operations and Safety

Generator search signal GPS-1 is designed to generate an alternating magnetic field used to search for miners in the rubble. GPS-1 is located inside mine head lamps of various modifications together with radio unit SUBR-02SM. GPS-1 can be used together with the locating receiver when solving the task of searching for people in the rubble.GPS-1 when released from production is tuned to a fixed frequency of radiation from the range of 4500 Hz to 5500 Hz with a step of 0.5 Hz, except for harmonics of the mains voltage.In the standby mode the control device analyses the signals coming through the control line of the luminaire.

When a start signal is received from the radio unit, the control device switches on the driver, which generates an alternating current in the magnetic antenna and the magnetic antenna generates an alternating magnetic field, which is received by the UTIS-Poisk HF locating receiver.
