Signal and Command Transceiver for Relay Protection and Emergency Automation - AVANT

The transceiver is designed for transmission and reception of high-frequency protection signals and discrete commands of relay protection and emergency automation through high-frequency channels of transmission lines with voltage from 110 kV and above with adjacent arrangement of transmission and reception bands, as well as through digital multiplexed and fibre-optic channels. The transceiver is used in the electric power industry. The transceiver fulfils the following reliability requirements: <ul> <li>- average operating time per failure - not less than 120,000 hours;</li> <li>average service life - 20 years;</li> <li>average recovery time - 0.5 hours.</li> </ul>
