PPS are designed to store reserve self-rescuers and protect people from the harmful factors of the mine atmosphere when switching to reserve self-rescuers in emergency situations when leaving remote areas, as well as for shelter and rest mountain rescuers during the elimination of accidents in underground workings of mines and mines, including dangerous by gas and dust.
