Description

Snow-cleaning single-wagon self-propelled machine SM-5 is designed for clearing snow and debris from station tracks of railway transport, including switches and neck of railway track, loading into its own body with subsequent mechanised unloading in designated places. Snow can be unloaded in the working condition of the machine through 2-3 tracks on the left and right sides of the track axis. Working bodies are driven by electric, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Electric motors of traction bogie drives and working bodies are powered by electric power from a stationary diesel generator set located in the machine room.
