Description

The transmitting device of VHF range of marine mobile service "Tamga/VHF/PPDU" TMYUG.464511.036 is designed for organisation of radio communication and exchange of DSC messages with ships of sea trans-port when working as a part of shore stations of GMDSSB of sea area A1.The product provides radio communication in radiotelephone exchange mode (TLF) and has a configurable software modem of digital selective call (DSC) for transmission of acknowledgement of reception of distress, urgency and safety signals, and transmission of DSC messages for ordinary communication and emergency exchange. The product can be used as shore-based equipment to provide two-way radio communication in radiotelephony mode in ship traffic management systems (VTS) and in navigation control and navigation management services. The product is designed for installation at fixed radio centres as the main (backup) VHF transceiver (radio station).
