Kurvimeters road KP-230 RDT are designed to measure the length of the path travelled by the curvimeter wheel on surfaces with a hard surface.Curvimeters consist of a wheel fixed on a boom and an electronic (or mechanical) counter of the length of the travelled path. A hinged stand is installed at the bottom of the boom.
The rod of the curvimeter is folding, with a swivel joint. In the upper part of the rod there is a handle with a button for braking the wheel. The principle of operation of the curvimeters is as follows: the rotating wheel, passing over the measured surface, through the belt transmission supplies torque to the counter, which shows the length of the path travelled by the curvimeter wheel. The rotation of the wheel is controlled by an optoelectronic converter located in the indication unit.
The information from the optoelectronic converter is converted into the length of the travelled distance and displayed digitally on the LCD display. The power source of the curvimeters is small-sized batteries or accumulators.
