Resorcinol-Formaldehyde Paste for Root Canal Filling Applications

The composition is used for filling canals with incomplete pulp extirpation (suitable for both permanent and temporary teeth). During polymerisation, the material releases a certain amount of gaseous formaldehyde, which penetrates into the root cavities and transforms albumin into insoluble aseptic mixtures. As a result, in just one procedure it is possible to carry out three actions at once, among them: rapid antiseptic treatment of dental canals; effective filling of canals in case of incomplete pulp extirpation; introduction of an antiseptic substance characterised by a long-lasting effect.
