Radiation and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARHR) for Emergency Response Applications

Radiation and chemical reconnaissance vehicle (ARCHR). The complex is made on the base chassis of the UAZ PATRIOT vehicle. ARCHR is designed to equip units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia ARCHR provides: radiation, chemical (hereinafter referred to as RC) reconnaissance of terrain and objects; spectrometric gamma survey of terrain in motion and visualisation of radiation situation on an electronic map of terrain with georeferencing by means of geoinformation positioning system (GIS); monitoring of radiation situation, search for sources and identification of ionising gamma radiation by means of on-board GIS; radiation control (monitoring) of territories and objects; chemical and chemical monitoring of territories and objects.
