R50 Tram Switch with Spur Intersection 481 for Safe Track Transfers

Tramway R50 arrow crossing with crossing according to epure 481 (project 8606.00.000) is designed for transferring trams from one track to another. It consists of an outer and an inner body with sharps (feathers) and a transfer mechanism. The bodies are made in the form of castings from high-manganese steel with welded rail ends and are fixed on pads.

Turning sharps (feathers) are made of high-manganese steel. The switch can be equipped with a system of electric heating of sharps (feathers). The transfer is operated outdoors in macroclimatic regions of temperate and cold climate as a product UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.

The transfer is designed to pass the rolling stock with wheel bandages according to GOST 25712-88.
