A sterile implantable product designed to replace the proximal femoral neck in total hip arthroplasty. The fixation of the product is performed by embedding its distal end into the cortical layer of the remaining part of the natural femur. This achieves mechanical adhesion without the use of bone cement. The product is made of titanium alloy.
