Shield face shield with attachment to a protective helmet is used as part of complex personal protective equipment against mechanical impacts (set "Druzhba"). It is recommended against thermal risks of electric arc, against elevated temperatures, adhesion of molten metal and penetration of hot particles, for protection against high-energy impact, fogging, chemical factors, surface destruction by fine aerosols and non-ionising radiation.
