Pressure Boosting System for Water Treatment Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE5

Grundfos Hydro Multi-E pressure boosters are designed for pumping and pressure boosting of clean water in water supply systems of residential and commercial buildings. Hydro Multi-E units consist of two to four vertical multistage CRE pumps, connected in parallel and mounted on a common base frame with manifolds, diaphragm tank, fuse block and sets of shut-off valves and instrumentation. The pumps used are equipped with in-built frequency converters, each of which can act as a control device, allowing the unit to be operated without a separate control cabinet. A redundancy function is provided as standard to ensure that the unit is operational in the event of failure of the control pump or one of the pressure transducers.
