Pre-sowing Cultivator Vityaz KPD-10 for Efficient Soil Preparation

Cultivator KPD is designed for surface tillage to a depth of 12 cm, weed killing, levelling and loosening of the field surface and creating an even seedbed. We offer a range of KPD cultivators with working widths from 4 metres to 14 metres. The depth of cultivation of KPD cultivators is regulated by the support wheels, which are located directly in front of the working tools and the packer roller, which is located behind the working tools.

This allows to achieve a uniform working depth, which in turn contributes to uniform crop sprouting. At the same time, the use of a 65x12mm S-shaped spring strut and a 230mm tine allows working in fields with increased weediness with a cultivation depth of up to 12cm. A hybrid of trailer and main chassis - Lafette - is used as a carrying module of the trailed folding KPD cultivators.

The main and auxiliary wheels are moved out of the cultivation area. This allows an optimum arrangement of the tines across the entire working width of the implement. The main feature of the KPD cultivators with working width up to 10 m is the folding for transport in the width of 2.5 metres.

This makes it possible to travel on public roads without an escort and without additional authorisation documents. The KPD cultivator is equipped with a leveller in front of the main working elements. The purpose of the leveller is to break up and smooth out individual irregularities, e.g.

during ploughing, which is also indispensable for seedbed cultivation. Optionally, instead of the leveller and the support wheels, a levelling roller can be fitted at the front. The working depth is adjusted by repositioning the tines in the holes.

Both front and rear rollers can be equipped with a levelling and levelling slat roller. When the cultivator is equipped with support wheels, they can fall into furrows from previously travelled machines, drive on hard ground and so on, accordingly the depth of cultivation of the whole section, which is supported by these support wheels, changes. The support roller has a much larger support area than the wheels, so the cultivator will not feel small changes in the terrain.

For the same reason, the cultivator is not affected by fluctuations in ground hardness. At the same time, the accuracy and uniformity of the cultivation depth are significantly improved.
