Power Converter PSN-200-01-U1 for Efficient Electric Train Power Supply

PSN-200-01-U1 is designed for power supply of consumers of carriages of DC electric train of the city express type EGE2Tv for MDC-3.PSN provides conversion of high-voltage train mainline voltage into DC and AC voltages of the required value. The converter is made in the form of two power cabinets placed in the undercar space. High-voltage part of VSP-200-01-U1 includes input filter, charging and linear high-voltage contactors, charging resistor and input high-voltage step-down converter with galvanic isolation.

The low-voltage part of NSP-200-01-U1 includes a three-phase inverter (channel 1), providing power supply to AC loads with voltage 3x380 V, 50 Hz and a converter for power supply of DC circuits and battery charging (channel 2). The source of power supply of PSN is the contact network with voltage 3000V DC with a limit value from 2200 to 4000V. There are 91 units in operation.
