The irradiator is designed for disinfection of the air of premises of I-V category by ultraviolet bactericidal radiation in accordance with the Guidelines R 3.5.1904-04 in hospitals, polyclinics,
maternity hospitals, general sanatoriums, as well as in pre-school, school, industrial and public organisations, in anti-tuberculosis organisations.
The Illuminator should only be used when no one is present.
The illuminator can use Philips, OSRAM or Lighttech 55 W bactericidal lamps with a bactericidal flux of at least 18 W. For the manufacture of bactericidal lamps, special glass and/or coating is used, which has a high transmission coefficient of bactericidal ultraviolet rays and at the same time absorbs radiation with a wavelength below 200 nm, forming ozone from the air (ozone-free ultraviolet lamps). In the process of operation of the Irradiator is registered extremely small, within MAC, ozone formation, which practically disappears after 100 hours of lamp operation....
