Portable Signal Generator for Rectangular and Sine Waves ARINST ArSiG-R for High-Frequency Applications

The ARINST ArSiG-R portable generator is designed to generate high-frequency signals in the range of 1-6200 MHz. The device is capable of sweeping the output signal, both in frequency and level. It has the ability to use an external high-stable signal source as a reference.

The generator in the 1-3000 MHz range generates rectangular oscillations. In the range 3000-6200 MHz the instrument generates sinusoidal oscillations. It is made in a robust aluminium case as a mobile device with autonomous power supply and is designed primarily for work directly at the site, because of its light weight and compact size is characterised by low power consumption.

The device is used to generate test signals for the development and debugging of various devices: amplifiers, filters, receiving and transmitting paths, for measuring and analysing the characteristics of antennas. In addition, the device is ideal for workshops, radio amateurs, educational institutions and laboratories.
