The polyaxial screw is made of titanium alloy according to ISO 5832 and ASTM F136. The polyaxial screw is self tapping. The head of the screw has a U-shaped rounded cross-section. The head has a lowered diameter to increase the area and access for implant placement.
Inside the head is a hole with a special stop thread. The screw head has two holes and four slots for gripping and attaching the instrument. The connection between the screw head and the screw must be unbreakable and allow a taper deflection of up to 22.5? per side.
There is an internal hexagon in the end of the screw. Polyaxial screw has individual marking of diameter, length, individual labelling and packaging.
