Plate recuperators are designed to utilise warm or cold air. The unique principle of operation of a plate recuperator is that when the air removed from the room is drawn out, which in turn flows inside the channel between the plates of the heat exchanger, the air thus heats them. Then, when the supply air flows through the channel, passing through the other channels of the heat exchanger, the air is heated and enters the room warm.
