Optical Power Meter - PHOTON-5 for Measuring Optical Radiation Power

Purpose:

• - Measurement of optical radiation power (dBm) and loss determination in fibre optic light guides and cables.
• Identification of fibres in cassettes, detection of poor quality contacts, cracks, welding joints, breaks, kinks of optical fibres by visual method.
• Diagnostics and quick assessment of connection quality of broadband access channel using ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2, VDSL, VDSL2 family technology.
• Determination of technical condition and wiring diagram of copper cable of UTP, FTP types (correctness of wire crimping).
• Determination in FTP, UTP cables the nature of the fault (short circuit, open circuit) and the distance to the fault on each core.
• Built-in 1kHz generator for determining the "own" cable in a bundle of other cables by contact method with the help of a complete "Termination" (plug) or non-contact method (non-contact probe is not included in the delivery set).
• Built-in LED torch.
