Board television unit BTU-3 is designed to monitor and control the state of the cargo on the external suspension of the helicopter and is part of the equipment of the helicopter MI-26T.
BTU-3 as part of the MI-26T helicopter provides:
observation of the cargo on the external suspension from the crew's workplaces;
crew observation of the place of hooking up and stowage (unhooking) of the cargo;
crew observation of the interior of the cargo cabin;
review of the space under the helicopter.
