The 2GM2,5-1,6/15-18C piston gas crosshead compressor ("dry", "without lubrication") on the 2M2,5 opposition base is used in industry, oil and gas, chemical, food and other sectors for compression and transfer of various gases. The complete compressor unit consists of a compressor, refrigerators (gas coolers), gas pipework, cooling and automation systems.
The compressor is a piston crosshead machine with oppositely arranged cylinders. The compressor design is based on the normal range of machines adopted at Krasnodar Compressor Plant.
For separation of liquid and oil particles there are cavities in coolers or moisture and oil separators, from where condensate and oil are removed by periodic blowing. A considerable number of assemblies and parts are unified and interchangeable.
