Oil Arc Extinguishing Reactors RZDPOM Series for Medium Voltage Protection (6-35 kV)

Oil arc suppression reactors are used to protect medium-voltage networks from single-phase earth faults and their negative effects. In principle, an oil arc suppression plunger reactor is a coil with adjustable inductive resistance placed in a steel tank filled with mineral transformer oil. The principle of plunger reactor current regulation is realised by smooth (stepless) change of inductance of the main power winding at change of non-magnetic gap in the armoured rod-type magnetic core.
