Nitrogen Membrane Plant AMU-2/10-95 for High-Purity Nitrogen Generation

The stationary nitrogen membrane plant of the TGA® and AMU® series is a gas separation plant for the production of compressed nitrogen (purity up to 99%), which is based on the principle of air separation by means of hollow fibre membranes. This nitrogen plant is also known as a nitrogen generator or nitrogen generator. Membrane nitrogen plants are gas separation equipment.

Industrial nitrogen in the gaseous state is obtained from atmospheric air. The membrane method of gas separation is more economically efficient than cryogenic and adsorption methods of gaseous nitrogen production. At present, the latest generation of high performance membranes are used in nitrogen membrane gas separation plants.

Inside the membrane there are thousands of hollow fibres on which a selective layer is applied. There are no moving parts in the plant, thus significantly increasing the duration of its operation without breakage.
