The MAK-01 apparatus is designed to control neutron-physical parameters of installations in order to improve safety of works performed during operation, during loading and reloading of active zones of installations, physical start-up and during potentially hazardous works.
Field of application: control of neutron flux parameters during nuclear fuel loading and reloading and subsequent physical start-up of the reactor at facilities.
MAK-01 equipment is designed for:
1. measurement of pulse count rate from detection devices based on low-background fission ionisation chambers;
2. Calculation of the period of pulse count rate doubling;
3. Formation of alarm and warning signalling on exceeding the power level and (or) doubling period settings;
4. Output of the signal to the "clicker" type sound signalling device;
5. Output of information about the current value of current pulse count rate and doubling period to PC.
