Electric energy meters single-phase multifunctional CE 208 (hereinafter - meters) are designed to measure active and reactive energy in one or two directions in single-phase two-wire AC circuits and to organise multi-tariff metering.
The meters have: one or two current sensors (shunts or toroidal current transformers), microcontroller, non-volatile data memory and built-in real-time clock, allowing to keep track of active electric energy by tariff zones of the day and reactive electricity in total, interface for reading systems for automated metering of electricity consumption, optical port for local reading, load control relay.
