The mechanical seeder is suitable for sowing cereals: wheat, barley, rye, oats. For small seeds and fodder: rape, trefoil, medicinal grass, rye grass. For large seeds: soya, peas. The seeds are distributed in a line in the ground as the coulters are placed in the soil, hence the distribution is not per seed but by a toothed roller for each row. The quantities are controlled by a speed variator (gear system) that drives the transmission wheel as it rotates from traction with the ground. The coulter units are assembled on brackets, making them independent of each other and providing a wide range of oscillation for the coulters to adjust to the ground.
