Smoke pump of double-sided suction with backward bent leaf blades. It is intended for suction of gases from the furnace of boiler units and gas cleaning facilities at temperature not more than 200 C and dustiness of the gas flow not more than 2 g/nm3.
Smoke pump structurally consists of guide apparatuses necessary for regulation of operation parameters, spiral casing, suction pockets, impeller, which serves for energy transfer to the flow from the drive motor, and running gear. In the process of medium movement in the impeller, the flow is dynamically influenced by the blades and is involved in rotational motion.
This results in a change in the momentum of the transported medium and an increase in its potential and kinetic energy. The increase in flow energy is expressed as an increase in static and dynamic pressure.
