Locomotive Equipment for Automatic Train Brake Control SAUT-CM/485 - Ensuring Train Safety

Locomotive hardware SAUT-CM/485 is designed for use on traction and motorcar rolling stock when working on railway sections equipped with track devices ALSN, ALS-EN and point channel devices SAUT-CM/485, as well as for operation on sections equipped with semi-automatic blocking devices at train speeds up to 160 km/h per block section with a length of at least 187 metres. SAUT-CM/485 equipment is installed on single-body, two- and three-section locomotives, electric trains and diesel trains. Hardware sets are produced for specific types and series of locomotives. The SAUT-CM/485 equipment has the following operating algorithms: freight, passenger, electric train. The algorithm of operation of the SAUT-CM/485 equipment is set by programming for each type of locomotive and its operation section. If it is necessary to work in freight-passenger traffic, the algorithm is set by a switch installed in accordance with the equipment project.
