Locking Screw VФ/18/LM-O SintelKom for Intramedullary Osteosynthesis in Trauma Treatment

Fixing screws are designed for intramedullary blocked osteosynthesis in the treatment of injuries and diseases of the upper and lower extremities with intramedullary fixators. Fractures of metaepiphyseal (periarticular) section of tubular bones, prevention of pathological fractures of metaepiphyseal (periarticular) section of tubular bones, surgical treatment of acquired and congenital deformities of distal sections of lower limbs. The type of fixation of the Fixators is intramedullary; due to elastic properties of the Fixator by spiral-shaped coils of the spoke, which are stabilised in the lumen of the medullary canal, there is a possibility of additional fixation by blocking screws. The Fixators and Screws are extractable in terms of their ability to be removed from the patient's body. The retainers and screws are intended for single use. The titanium dioxide (TiO2) coating has bioinert and osseointegration properties.
