The radiation source is a solid-state pulsed nanosecond Nd:YAG laser with diode pumping and Q-SW modulation of goodness-of-fit. The operating ultraviolet radiation with wavelength ?=213 nm is produced by cascade conversion of the fundamental frequency (?=1064nm) into second, third and fifth harmonic frequencies.
-Stable. The original system of the transmitter made according to the scheme:
single-mode reference oscillator - high-power two-pass amplifier (MORA), allows to obtain high quality and stable energy from pulse to pulse, from operation to operation. 213nm radiation. Small (compared to 193nm) liquid absorption coefficient.
-Safe. The absence of toxic gases, gas-filled cylinders, liquid nitrogen, vacuum as part of the unit provides safety
patient and medical personnel and allows to classify the unit as environmentally safe.
-Mobile. Absolutely new opportunity in the world of refractive surgery. The unit can be moved both within the same building and as part of mobile medical programmes. Easy transport is made possible thanks to the advantages of the solid state laser technology itself and the original modular design of the unit's supporting body.
-Expanded surgical options The possibility of software customisation provides the surgeon with a completely new personalised tool for the surgical treatment of glaucoma.
-Economically efficient. The unit significantly reduces the cost of surgery, primarily due to the absence of consumables and the long service life.
consumables and long service life of the main optical components and warranty service (long service life of the unit: 10
years or 50,000 operations before overhaul).
