Inflatable life rafts can be operated in the temperature range from minus 30 (from minus 40 or from minus 50 for rafts in Arctic version with WINTERIZATION (-40) or WINTERIZATION (-50) sign) to plus 65°?; -sea water from minus 1 to plus 30°C. The design of the raft shall be such that after dropping it on the water from a height of 18 metres, the raft and its equipment shall operate satisfactorily.
