Horizontal Band Dipole Transmitting and Receiving Antenna VGDSh for Effective Communication

The transmitting antenna on the basis of radiators of the type vibrator horizontal range shunt (VGDSH) (hereinafter - the product or antenna), is designed to provide radio communication in the short-wave frequency range with horizontal polarisation. The antenna is stationary and retains its parameters in rain, wind, snowfall, ice, solar radiation, changes in ambient air temperature and humidity when operating in different climatic regions according to GOST 15150-69 for placement category 1. Polarisation of radiated waves is horizontal.

Permissible power of the radio transmitting device (RTDU): nominal - up to 1.0 kW and maximum - up to 1.2 kW. The calculated directivity factor relative to an isotropic radiator is 3 to 9 dBi. Estimated gain in the maximum radiation in the operating frequency range is from 2.5 to 8 dBi.
