High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker Series BB/AST-10 for 10 kV Networks

Vacuum switches high voltage series BB/AST with enhanced pole protection is designed for installation in new and reconstructed switchgear, switchgear, CSR in networks 10 kV with different modes of operation of the neutral. The switch has a compact electromagnetic contact drive with magnetic protection, vacuum arc suppression chamber and control unit. Low weight and small dimensions of the switch considerably facilitate and simplify the installation of the switch and simplify its adaptation to various types of switchgear and CSR.

Time of full tripping of the circuit breaker (0,04-0,045 s, depending on the version) and own tripping time -0,038 s. BB has interlocks of different types against wrong actions at the intermediate position of the device. BB/AST operates in any spatial position.

The operating temperature range is from -60 C to +60 C, permissible humidity up to 100 %. Additional cooling radiators are not required. Provision is made for manual shutdown by means of an emergency button.
