Description
Capacitor battery blasting machine KBPM-5 (Arena-5) is a portable source of electric current of high voltage, designed for initiation of electric detonators (ED) and electric igniters of EDP, EDP-r and other types having similar characteristics in the production of explosive works by electric means, by supplying them with voltage and current sufficient to heat platinum-iridium or nichrome bridge to the flash point of the ignition composition. The main purpose of the "ARENA-5" model is to be used during blasting operations when clearing the area of explosives, blasting operations in coal mines, tunnel construction
